How much does a website cost for a business in Poland in 2026?
A business website can cost a few hundred złoty or well over ten thousand. We explain where the differences come from, what you will realistically pay for a one-page site, a company website and an online store — and which costs come back every year.
How much does a website cost — price ranges
There is no single answer to “how much does a website cost”, because the term covers very different projects: from a single page with contact details to a site with several services, language versions and a CRM integration. Below are indicative price ranges for the Polish market in 2026 (net prices, in PLN).
| Type of website | Best for | Indicative cost |
|---|---|---|
| Website builder (DIY) | New business, testing an idea | from a few hundred PLN per year (subscription) |
| One-page / business card site | Small business, one service | approx. 1,500–4,500 PLN net |
| Company website with several pages | Service company, local business | approx. 3,500–9,000 PLN net |
| Lead generation website (several services, languages, CRM) | Businesses that want regular enquiries | from approx. 5,000 PLN net |
| Online store | Selling online | usually more than a company website — depends on catalogue and integrations |
Market data quoted by, among others, the Orange business guide mention approx. 2,500–4,500 PLN net for a simple one-page site made by an agency, approx. 1,500 PLN net from a freelancer and approx. 4,500–9,000 PLN for a site with several pages. It is a useful benchmark, but the real quote always depends on scope.
For comparison — NEXALYQ prices: audit of an existing website or idea from 1,500 PLN, company website from 3,500 PLN, extended lead generation website (several services, language versions, CRM or n8n) from 5,000 PLN. Domain, hosting and paid licences are billed separately. See the offer.
What affects the price of a website?
Two websites that look similar at first glance can differ in price several times over. These are the factors that usually decide:
1. Number of pages and structure
One page with a company description and a form is a very different scope from separate pages for every service, case studies, a blog and a contact page. Every page means design, content and testing.
2. Copy and materials
If you already have texts, photos and a logo, the cost is lower. If the content has to be written from scratch, work on how the offer is communicated is added. It is often the most underestimated part — and it is the copy that decides whether a visitor sends an enquiry.
3. Design: template or custom
A ready-made template is cheaper and faster. A design tailored to your brand costs more, but it makes the company stand out and is easier to extend without “patching” a template.
4. Language versions
Every additional language means not just translation, but also configuration (e.g. hreflang tags), separate meta descriptions and testing. For companies serving clients from Poland, Ukraine or abroad, it is a common requirement.
5. Forms, integrations and automation
A simple contact form is standard. Sending enquiries to a CRM, team notifications, online bookings or connecting the site with advertising require extra work — but they also save time after launch.
6. SEO, analytics and speed
Basic SEO (heading structure, meta descriptions, sitemap), Google Analytics and Search Console setup, and speed optimisation should be part of every project. If a quote does not include them, ask — adding them later costs more.
Running costs: how much does a website cost per year?
The build price is not everything. A website also has annual costs:
- Domain — usually from several dozen to approx. 150 PLN per year for a .pl domain (the first year is often cheaper).
- Hosting — from approx. 100–300 PLN per year for shared hosting to several hundred PLN for faster solutions.
- SSL certificate — free with most hosting providers (Let’s Encrypt).
- Licences — paid plugins or themes, if needed.
- Maintenance — updates, backups, fixes and security. You can do it yourself or outsource it on a monthly plan.
A website without updates gradually becomes slower and less secure, so it is worth including maintenance in the budget from the start.
Website builder, freelancer or agency?
| Builder | Freelancer | Agency / studio | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starting cost | lowest | low–medium | medium–higher |
| Your own work | a lot — you do everything | moderate | least |
| Flexibility | limited to the platform | depends on the person | high |
| SEO, analytics, integrations | basic | varies | usually included |
| Continuity of support | platform | depends on availability | a team |
A website builder is enough if you are only testing an idea and have time to handle the content yourself. A freelancer is a good choice for a simple site with a clear scope. An agency or studio makes sense when the website should bring regular enquiries and connect with advertising, a CRM or automation.
How to order a website without overpaying
- Define the goal. Should the site bring enquiries, sell or build credibility? The structure depends on the goal.
- Write down the scope. A list of pages, languages, forms and integrations lets you compare quotes like for like.
- Ask what is included. Copy, SEO, analytics, editing training, a revision guarantee, hosting.
- Check the portfolio. Open the case studies on your phone to see how they really work.
- Make sure the website will be yours. Access to the domain, hosting and admin panel should belong to your company.
- Plan for growth. It is better to start with a smaller scope and extend the site than to order everything at once.
